Lỗi formality số 1 – Lỗi viết lách tắt
- I’m, we’re, don’t, the US – UK,.. là những lỗi viết lách tắt.
- Ngoại lệ là lúc đề bài bác cho tới sẵn kể từ viết lách tắt nhập thắc mắc (duy nhất ở IELTS Writing Task 1)
Ex: I’m an advocate of the idea that the role of women in modern society can’t be ignored.
(Viết lại hoàn hảo của những kể từ viết lách tắt)
⇒ I am an advocate of the idea that the role of women in modern society cannot be ignored.
Informal: I donʼt believe that the results are accurate.
Formal: The results are not believed đồ sộ be accurate.
Informal: The research project wonʼt continue next year.
Formal: The research project will not continue next year.
Lỗi formality số 2 – Ngôn ngữ văn trình bày ko phù hợp
- Nên dùng kể từ vựng văn trình bày và cơ hội miêu tả văn trình bày như idioms.
- Những kể từ vựng vượt lên giản dị và đơn giản như small, bởi, thing,… cũng là một trong những phương pháp để miêu tả văn trình bày.
Ex: Vietnam has a big problem with child labor. If we don’t change right now, things will go worse. We must bởi something right now!
(Sử dụng kể từ vựng học tập thuật)
⇒ There is a severe problem of child labor in Vietnam. The situation may become even worse unless definite actions are taken.
Lỗi formality 2.1. Dùng Verbs Phrases
Informal: The balloon was blown up for the experiment.
Formal: The balloon was inflated for the experiment.
Informal: The patient got over his illness.
Formal: The patient recovered from his illness.
Informal: The results of the study were mixed up.
Formal: The results of the study were confusing.
Informal: This experiment worked out just fine.
Formal: This experiment was successful.
Lỗi formality 2.2. Dùng Slang / Colloquialisms
Việc dùng những giờ lóng chỉ hữu dụng nhập IELTS Speaking, với IELTS Writing thì ko.

Informal: It was raining cats and dogs.
Formal: It was raining very heavily.
Informal: Imma go hit him up.
Formal: I am going đồ sộ tương tác him.
Informal: My business is going bankrupt.
Formal: My business has now officially ceased đồ sộ trade.
Informal: As you examine the health effects of …
Formal: When examining the health effects of …
Informal: I believe the health effects of …
Formal: It is believed that the health effects of …
Lỗi formality số 3 – Sử dụng thắc mắc chất vấn tu kể từ hoặc câu cảm thán
Lưu ý: Cả 2 cơ hội miêu tả này sẽ không thích hợp nhập IELTS Writing.
Ex: What is the biggest problem with life in the city? I think it is public health!
(Sử dụng câu tường thuật (statement))
⇒ I think that one of the most worrying problems with life in the đô thị is public health.
⇒ I would argue that worsened public health is one of the most pressing problems associated with đô thị life.
Lỗi formality số 4 – Sử dụng những số liệu cụ thể
- Các số liệu ví dụ thông thường kể từ những những nghiên cứu và phân tích nhằm thực hiện dẫn bệnh cho tới nội dung bài viết. Cách này tất yếu sẽ không còn phù phù hợp với IELTS vì thế IELTS – thực chất của chính nó là kỳ đua ngữ điệu, đòi hỏi dùng ngữ điệu thiệt sự thuyết phục được người chấm, người hiểu.
Ex: A recent study by transport experts has found that less than thở 90 percent of private vehicles in Vietnam are motorbikes.
- Lược vứt những phần nhắc cho tới nghiên cứu và phân tích, rất có thể miêu tả kém cỏi đúng mực rộng lớn chứ không đem số liệu ví dụ nhập, hoặc thêm 1 văn cảnh ví dụ như 1 ví dụ.
⇒ For example, in Vietnam, a large number of people are using motorbikes as the primary means of transport.
